Charitable Foundation

The SAPC CFI is a federally registered non-profit 501(c)(3) organization started to harness the energy of South Asians in the pharmaceutical industry across the USA. Among its objectives are to:

Healthcare access
Help with improved healthcare access to the poor and needy in South Asia and other developing areas in the world.
Charitable health clinics
Provide monetary, planning and logistic assistance to set-up free and charitable health clinics in remote places where health care treatment is very scarce and much needed.
Treatment of diseases
Support grass roots campaigns for early diagnosis and treatment of diseases like cancer, aids, and cardio vascular diseases in areas where there is little or no health care or where health care is unaffordable.
Non-profit organizations
Coordinate with local non-profit organizations to rehabilitate victims and dependents of chronic and terminal diseases.
Support health care
Support other 501(c)(3) charitable organizations working to support health care initiatives for the needy and poor in other parts of the world. e.g. Red Cross (www.redcross.org), Sankara eye Foundation (www.giftofvision.org), Children’s Hope International (www.childrenshope.net), Island Trust (www.islandtrust.org) etc.
Other purposes
Other initiatives driven by organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
